CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present The Golden Girls Live: On Stage! on Saturday, September 24 at 9:30 PM. The show was created almost twenty years ago by Peter Mac and John Mac as a loving drag tribute to everyone's favorite sitcom.

With the graduating cast leaving the halls of Westerberg High, it’s time to welcome in some new students to the cast of Heathers the Musical. Taking on the role of high school geek Veronica Sawyer will be Erin Caldwell and at her side as the dark and moody teen Jason ‘J.D’ Dean is Nathanael Landskroner.

The album, out on double CD, double vinyl and a deluxe box set, comprises tracks from across the career of the legendary late great Jamaican record producer and artist Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. The collection will mark the 1st anniversary of his passing, showcasing the very best of his work across his own releases and his productions for other artists.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present the New York premiere of IT: A Musical Parody for 13 performances only, opening Thursday, October 20 and running through a special Halloween performance on Monday, October 31.

Keen Company has announced details for its upcoming 2022-2023 season. Anchored by two must-see revivals, not produced in New York since their premieres, Keen’s 23rd season, featuring two of America’s greatest writers, explores how individuals move forward after life-altering change.

But beloved as it may be, why in the ever-loving hell has it taken so long for To Kill A Mockingbird to become a theatrical play that is actually worthy of its literary heritage? Sure, there’s been a 1990 (?!) version by Christopher Sergel that’s made it way through every high school auditorium, community theater playhouse and reginal theater over the intervening three decades that we are, quite frankly, sick to death of it. In fact, if we never see it again, we’ve seen it far too often: a warmed over, treacly and maudlin rehash that’s far too dependent on the title’s movie roots to really emerge from a darkened theater to become a consummate American play.

On August 14, 2022, Broadway says goodbye to two Tony-nominated productions. Tina- The Tina Turner Musical will conclude its run at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre following 27 preview performances and 482 regular performances, and POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive wraps up at the Shubert Theatre following 18 previews and 126 regular performances.

Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of Harper Lee’s classic 1960 novel TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD opened on Broadway in 2018. (Yes, that Aaron Sorkin). Directed by Bartlett Sher, the play transports the audience to Alabama in 1934, where Atticus Finch is representing a Black man falsely accused of sexual assault.

Weightless will play a limited engagement from September 17–October 16, 2022 at WP Theater, with support from piece by piece productions.
