Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill – extend the band’s “Hotel California” Tour with new shows set for Jacksonville, Florida (Mar. 25); an encore performance in Tampa, Florida (Mar. 28); Columbia, South Carolina (Mar. 30); Knoxville, Tennessee (Apr. 1); Greensboro, North Carolina (Apr. 4); and Newark, New Jersey (Apr. 7).

When the world-renowned jazz icon Louis Armstrong (1901-1971) was on tour, he would always put up a small Christmas tree in the hotel he and his wife Lucille were staying. When they were home for the holidays, they would lavishly display their Corona Queens home with decorations, sing carols, recite The Night Before Christmas, and Armstrong sent friends his homemade holiday cards, made in his genius, down home style.

Woodward, who went to work at Kennedy Center the week it opened and retired after forty-five years as Vice-President of Theater Programming, died on October 14, 2022 in Washington, D.C.

Brand-new production of The Cher Show starring Debbie Kurup (The Bodyguard, Girl From The North Country), Danielle Steers (Bat Out of Hell, SIX) and Millie O'Connell (SIX, Rent) is arrives at Theatre Royal Brighton for two weeks from Tuesday 1 to Saturday 12 November 2022.

Producers Sonia Friedman and Tom Kirdahy have announced that the brand new Kander & Ebb musical, NEW YORK, NEW YORK, will begin performances on Broadway Friday, March 24, 2023 and officially open Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Broadway’s St. James Theatre.

Theatre At The Tabard Presents THE LAST LAUGH By Richard Harris, the first in-house production in their relaunch season, following a short closure and return to the Tabard name.

The Marblehead School of Ballet (MSB) and the North Shore Civic Ballet (NSCB) in Marblehead, Massachusetts are holding their third drive for winter coats and pajamas to help neighbors in need.  The drive runs from Tuesday, November 1 through Saturday, December 10.

Recorded direct from the band’s soundboard and restored and remastered, this recording captures the arc of the ABB’s sound as they were ramping up to the classic At Fillmore East album recorded just 8 weeks later (March 1971). You can hear Duane Allman, Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks and Jaimoe on this recording.

Boston Baroque opens its 50th Season with Bach's beloved Mass in B minor this October. The performance on Saturday, October 15 at 8pm will be held at GBH's Calderwood Studio in Brighton, welcoming live studio audiences on site and virtual audiences around the world via livestream on IDAGIO's Global Concert Hall. The performance on Sunday, October 16 at 3pm will be held at NEC's Jordan Hall in Boston.

New Jersey Repertory Company, located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch will present the 2022-2023 Mainstage Season. This season New Jersey Repertory Company will be presenting six mainstage productions.

The Public Theater, the Barnard Center for Research on Women and the Ntozake Shange Literary Trust have announced the establishment of The Ntozake Shange Social Justice Theater Residency. This rotating two-year playwriting residency is named in honor of Public Theater artist and Barnard alumna (Class of 1970) Ntozake Shange.

Boston Baroque Founding Music Director Martin Pearlman was awarded the Samuel Simons Sanford Medal by the Yale School of Music on September 8, 2022. In his remarks upon receiving the award, Mr. Pearlman noted, “I'm grateful to receive this honor from the Yale School of Music, which was so important in my evolution as an artist.”

59E59 Theaters and The Civilians have announced the full cast & creative team for The Unbelieving by Marin Gazzaniga (So Close) and directed by Steve Cosson (Whisper House). The Unbelieving begins previews October 20, 2022, in Theater B and opens October 27 for a run through November 20, 2022.
