The 2022-23 season of Broadway at the Tennessee Theatre features a full lineup with six titles and 56 performances. While season subscription tickets have been available for purchase, the Theatre will begin selling single-performance tickets next month.

A brand-new production of The Cher Show starring Debbie Kurup, Danielle Steers and Millie O'Connell is coming to Milton Keynes Theatre  09 – 13 August.

UMG Nashville/UMe concludes Black Music Month and honors Stoney Edwards with the streaming debut of all six of his acclaimed 1971-1976 Capitol Records’ albums. Down Home In The Country, A Country Singer, Stoney Edwards, She’s My Rock, Mississippi You’re On My Mind and Blackbird have been remastered from original analog tapes.

Produced by AMC Studios, the six-episode second season will arrive on AMC+ and AMC next year. The season one premiere on June 12 attracted an audience of 2.2 million viewers on AMC in Nielsen live+3 ratings, becoming the #5 cable drama premiere of the current broadcast TV season. The George London Foundation for Singers presents three events at The Morgan Library & Museum in the 2022-23 season: the 51st annual George London Foundation Competition for American and Canadian opera singers, one of the opera world's most prestigious competitions, and two recitals showcasing recent winners: rising stars mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis and baritone Benjamin Taylor, who both won their George London Awards in 2018.

'Sadec 1965: A Love Story,' a one-woman show written and performed by Flora Le, is part of the primary line up of the 2022 Atlanta Fringe Festival. This 60-minute powerful solo storytelling piece is best described as 'Motorcycle Diaries' meets 'Eat, Pray, Love' set in Vietnam.

Country singer and actor Mickey Gilley, known for launching the Urban Cowboy movement in Country music and hit songs including 'Stand By Me,' 'Room Full of Roses' and 'Lonely Nights,' died Saturday in Branson, Missouri. Gilley was 86 and had just come off of the road, his favorite place, having played ten shows in April. He passed peacefully with his family and close friends by his side.

Penn Live Arts has announced its 2022-23 season, curated by Executive and Artistic Director Christopher A. Gruits, and celebrating 50 years of exceptional, multi-disciplinary performing arts at the University of Pennsylvania.

From his debut feature, Bleak Moments (1971); to his ’70s television work for the BBC; to the breakout mid-career successes of Life Is Sweet (1990), Naked (1993), and Secrets and Lies (1996); through the historical films that have marked his output more recently, like Mr. Turner (2014) and Peterloo (2018), a Mike Leigh film always has an unmistakable energy and feeling for the triumphs and tragedies of everyday life.

The Minnesota Orchestra today unveiled plans for 2022-23, a wide-ranging season that pairs the music of Beethoven, Brahms and Mendelssohn alongside newer compositions by Alberga, Mazzoli and Montgomery; spotlights masterpieces of the piano repertoire, and more.

Yale Repertory Theatre has announced its 2022–23 season of four plays. The season will begin with Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, running October 6–29. James Bundy, who directed Albee’s A Delicate Balance at Yale Rep in 2010, will stage this new production of the explosively comedic and harrowingly profound masterpiece. 

Artistic Director Jeffrey Cass and Executive Director Julie Ann Kornak will present the final show of BrightSide Theatre’s 10th Anniversary Season – BrightSide is Back! The twice postponed production closes out the season with the music of ABBA in the musical that has entertained over 60 million people around the globe -  Mamma Mia!  

Broadway at the Hobby Center has announced its 2022-23 season lineup, which will kick off in November 2022. The shows in the season include Six, Pretty Woman, Jesus Christ Superstar, Moulin Rouge!, To Kill a Mockingbird, Wicked, and Ain't Too Proud.
