Inis Nua Theatre will present the American Premiere of A HOLY SHOW by Janet Moran.  The Irish phrase “a holy show” means to embarrass or make a spectacle of oneself, the perfect title for this whirlwind comedy based on the true story of a disgraced Australian monk who hijacked a passenger jet using nothing but holy water.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present Christina Bianco in her new show “A Lot to Unpack” on Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16 at 8:30 PM. Her bags are packed for London but before she leaves her hometown this globetrotting, genre-crossing, multi-voiced, multi-wig-wearing funny girl has some serious unpacking to do.

'Dreamgirls' follows the story of a young female singing trio from Chicago called 'The Dreams' who become music superstars. The show is based on the show business aspirations and successes of R&B acts such as The Supremes, The Shirelles, James Brown, Jackie Wilson, and others.

Bill Kenwright's legendary production of the international smash hit musical Blood Brothers returns to the stage. The much-loved musical, which performed to sell-out houses and standing ovations on its most recent UK tour in 2019-2020, returns with gusto to Birmingham Hippodrome this November.

ELIZABETH IRELAND McCANN, the iconoclastic Broadway producer who won nine Tony Awards during a 60-year career in theater, died after a bout with cancer on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, according to her longtime associate and friend, Kristen Luciani.  She was 90 years old.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center has announced an exciting 2021-22 season of intimate concerts, live and with an in-person audience, in the Rose Studio: New Milestones, Rose Studio Concerts and The Art of the Recital, as well as a new season of its popular lecture series Inside Chamber Music and more.

The GRAMMY-nominated PUBLIQuartet's modern interpretation of chamber music makes them one of the most dynamic artists of their generation. 

'I haven't sung in three years!' said Liza Minnelli to an adoring crowd at Feinstein's at Vitello's. The living legend stopped by the famed LA supperclub last week, where she performed on stage with Michael Feinstein himself. Watch below as she sings the Gershwin classic- 'Embraceable You.'

The film will reportedly begin following the death of Minnelli's mother, Judy Garland. It will then follow Minnelli on her rise to fame, beginning in the 1970s, and chronicling her various accolades, including an Oscar for best actress (Cabaret), an Emmy for best TV special (Liza with a Z), and a Tony for best actress in a musical (The Act).

You get Michael McAssey, who for 40 years has reigned as the clown prince of New York cabaret, and has enchanted as one of its most talented troubadours. He calls what he does 'schtick.' But that's undervaluing his unique blend of beautiful ballad singing and standup, or rather 'sit down' comedy.

New Conservatory Theatre Center will celebrate 40 years of serving the Bay Area LGBTQ+ community, and its long-awaited return to live performances with a captivating 21-22 Season of two World Premieres, one Rolling World Premiere, one Regional Premiere, two West Coast Premieres, and a special musical celebration waiting in the wings. 

The Met has announced themed lineups for three weeks of its Nightly Met Opera Streams, the company's ongoing series of encore Live in HD presentations and classic telecasts streamed on its website during the Covid-19 closure. The schedule begins with a week, leading up to Father's Day on June 20, comprising a selection of operas featuring themes of fatherhood.
