Summertime is the best time to transport yourself into a nostalgic world as Freeform celebrates “30 Days of Disney” with legendary Disney films starting June 1. The programming event will feature the world television premiere of Disney-Pixar’s animated film “Lightyear.” Other Freeform premieres include Disney-Pixar’s “Soul” and Disney Animation’s “Fantasia” (1940 and 2000). Atlantic Theater Company has announced a final extension for the world premiere musical Days of Wine and Roses. Adapted from the 1962 film and original 1958 teleplay, the new musical features a book by Tony Award nominee Craig Lucas, music & lyrics by Tony Award winner Adam Guettel, and direction by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif.

Goodspeed Musicals has announced the cast for the world premiere musical comedy Summer Stock, the second production of its 60th anniversary season. Filled with exuberant dance numbers and hits from the American songbook, it is adapted from the MGM/Warner Bros. film Summer Stock and will appear on the Goodspeed stage from July 7 – August 27 in East Haddam, Connecticut.

Keen Company has announced details for its upcoming 2022-2023 season. Anchored by two must-see revivals, not produced in New York since their premieres, Keen’s 23rd season, featuring two of America’s greatest writers, explores how individuals move forward after life-altering change.

With an independent production, the show written and directed by well-known names in Sao Paulo's musical theater opens at Espaço ao Cubo. Em Algum Lugar Entre as Estrelas (Somewhere Among the Stars) brings together stories from three characters about stories of love, escape and recognition. Among the conflicts, the perspective of a woman whose marriage was crossed by the military dictatorship, homosexual relationships in the 90s and current liquid loves.

Each of the five selected recipient receives £1000, as well as technical, marketing and creative support from Iris Theatre to develop and present their work as part of the Summer Festival. Each artist receives 50% of their production's box office revenue.

Flying Over Sunset is officially in previews on Broadway! The musical, with book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt, and lyrics by Michael Korie, and choreography by Michelle Dorrance will open Thursday, April 16.

PETER PAN THE MUSICAL, presented by the Grand Prairie Arts Council, opens at the historic Uptown Theater on Friday, December 6, 2019, and runs through Sunday, December 15, 2019. The beautifully restored 1950's theater is located at 120 E Main St, Grand Prairie, TX 75050.

Southern Belles, uniting two ground-breaking one-act plays by Tennessee Williams, will headline the King's Head Theatre's 2019 Queer Season, running from 24 July to 24 August. Southern Belles is directed by Jamie Armitage, co-director of the multi Olivier nominated musical Six.
