Accompanying Marilu on her one-nighter will be musical director Michael Orland on piano.

New York City Center announced casting updates for the Annual Gala Presentation Pal Joey. Joining the cast are Loretta Devine (replacing Jennifer Holliday) as nightclub owner Lucille Wallace and Jeb Brown as Tony, the gangster who’s caught her eye.

Inspired by real-life events from the 1980s, this haunting family drama will see one actor take on the roles of a mother and her identical twin daughters, Donna and Carol. Nominated for Lead Performance, New Play and Best Director at the Off West End Awards 2021, The Good Dad is presented in association with the charity Victim Support. 

Goodspeed Musicals is presenting the new musical Here You Come Again, a musical celebration of the wit and humor of Dolly Parton, and the reopening of The Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn., this summer. 

Broadway and television actor John Deyle has passed away from esophageal cancer at the age of 68. 

'Call Me Elizabeth,' a one-woman show about the early life of Elizabeth Taylor, will be presented July 15-18 by KB Productions at 59E59 Theaters as part of the 2023 East to Edinburgh Festival. Directed by Michael Weber, the critically acclaimed production is written by and stars Kayla Boye.

The global tour of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE SOUND OF MUSIC, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien, will be the first Broadway touring musical to perform in India at the brand new 2000 seat musical theatre venue, The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai.

Broadway stalwart Richard Korthaze passed away on January 2, 2023 in Connecticut where he was moved to be closer to his relatives.

Multi-Award Winning Director/Choreographer Chet Walker passed away peacefully on  ​​​​​​​Friday, October 21, 2022, at his home in Cornelius, North Carolina, from a glioblastoma tumor.  His devoted husband Jack, their beloved daughter Charlie, and close family were at his side.
