One of dance music’s most celebrated contemporary figures, Avalon Emerson, shares her crystalline new single “Karaoke Song,” the latest track to be taken from her forthcoming debut album Avalon Emerson & The Charm. Co-produced with avant-pop savant Bullion, “Karaoke Song” reflects on the ethereal nature of intimacy.

The record-breaking production of Studio Ghibli's My Neighbour Totoro will return to the Barbican Theatre for a strictly limited run in Autumn 2023.

Hello Mary - which was produced by Bryce Goggin (Pavement /Luna) - references alternative rock of the nineties alongside Elliott Smith and Jeff Buckley as influences, heard most vividly on the album’s simmering closer “Burn it Out,” but their contemporaries are bands like Palberta, Spirit of the Beehive, and Palehound.

Prime Video released the official first-look photos for the upcoming limited series The English, starring Emily Blunt (A Quiet Place franchise, Sicario, Oppenheimer) and Chaske Spencer (Wild Indian, Echo). Featuring their trademark harmonies and one rock-star-esque guitar solo, the earworm of a song is out via Frenchkiss Records who signed the the trio this spring. Custom Made Theatre Co.'s Board of Directors announced that co-founder Brian Katz will retire from his day-to-day position in mid-August after serving for twenty-three years, first as Artistic Director since their formation, and then as Executive Artistic Director since 2019. He will remain the President of the Board of Directors for the company.

The world premiere of the stage adaptation of My Neighbour Totoro has broken the Barbican's box office record for ticket sales in one day. The record had previously been held by Sonia Friedman Production's 2015 production of Hamlet starring Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role.
