Today Concord Theatricals launched a brand new lyric video in honor of the 65th anniversary of the 1956 film Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel, featuring the musical’s most enduring and uplifting anthem, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Cellist Lynn Harrell has died at age 76. His wife, violinist Helen Nightengale, announced the news on social media. She did not disclose the cause of his death. His death was 'unexpected' according to a statement provided by Columbia Artists.

Geffen Playhouse today announced six productions that will make up the 2020/2021 season in its Gil Cates and Audrey Skirball Kenis Theaters, with two additional productions to be announced. West Side Story will begin previews on December 10, 2019 and open February 6th, 2020 at the Broadway Theatre.
