Toadies have just announced new dates to their twice rescheduled Rubberneck 25th Anniversary. Fellow Texans, Reverend Horton Heat are on all dates and will play their Al Jourgensen produced Liquor in the Front in its entirety. Drakulas start West Coast dates, while Nashville Pussy kick off the bill on the East Coast.

​​​​​​Berkshire Theatre Group has announced casting for shows in BTG’s Late Summer 2022 Season. The full season will feature B.R.O.K.E.N code B.I.R.D switching, a world premiere play and an award recipient of the GRANTS FOR ARTS PROJECTS from the National Endowment for the Arts; Once, a Tony Award-winning musical; Songs For a New World, the first musical by a Tony Award winner; Dracula, a classic gothic tale of horrors; and Edward Albee's Seascape, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play. 

The evening will be hosted by his good friend and fellow hoofer, Lee Roy Reams, and features performances and remembrances by Jim Brochu, Anita Gillette, Kurt Peterson, Marianne Tatum and Penny Worth and directed by DO40 board member Lawrence Leritz, producer and choreographer of The Triad Theatre's hit show Boobs! The Musical.

Ballet Tech’s Kids Dance will return to The Joyce Theater (175 Eighth Avenue) with a program devised by the organization’s new artistic director, Dionne D. Figgins. The production celebrates founder Eliot Feld, featuring some of his early Kids Dance pieces as part of Ballet Tech’s expanding repertory.

GINGER THATCHER will be on the faculty of Ballet Arts, Inc.’s Summer Intensive which will be taking place from June 13-17, 2022 in Jackson, Tennessee. Ms. Thatcher will be teaching musical theater, jazz, and modern dance classes for the participants in this year’s Summer Intensive.

I've mentioned before that I don't generally care for musicals. Never have.
