Steppenwolf Theatre Company will welcome Chicago actor Jos N. Banks (He/They) to the cast of its hit play CHOIR BOY, written by Oscar-winning ensemble member Tarell Alvin McCraney (Moonlight).

The new, live, 60-minute immersive adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning musical Next To Normal, starring Alice Ripley, who reprises her Tony Award winning performance, begins tonight at the Festival Grec de Barcelona, ahead of an Opening Night set for Wednesday, July 6.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company,announces the regional premiere production of the 2009 rock musical “Green Day's American Idiot.”  Directed by James Michael McHale,  choreographed by Miguel Cardenas, and with music direction by Gabrielle Maldonado, “Green Day's American Idiot” runs July 15 to August 14 on the Cripe Stage of the Bette Aitken theater arts Center. Previews are July 15 to 22 and regular performances are July 23 to August 14.

The production, which opened on May 2, is running on The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 W 42nd St).
