Shakespeare Theatre Company has announced the location, cast, and creative team for the highly-anticipated spring production of Macbeth. Directed by STC Artistic Director Simon Godwin, Macbeth stars Tony and BAFTA Award-winner Ralph Fiennes and Olivier Award-winner Indira Varma as the leading lord and lady. This summer, Midnight Theatre presents 'KTP's Juke Joint Jubilee,' a monthly concert series featuring the sultry soul and blues inspired vocals of the magnetic Kyle Taylor Parker.  Each month, Parker will present a fresh playlist highlighting traditional blues music made famous by the likes of Dinah Washington and Nina Simone, as well as uniquely reworked arrangements of songs from today’s Top 100.

The Musical, the winner of ten Tony Awards® — including Best Musical, is coming to Minneapolis! Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that the first North American tour of Moulin Rouge! The Musical will play in Minneapolis at the historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis).

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2020 season, which opens June 15 with Kander and Ebb's internationally-acclaimed Chicago. Among the talented list are a mix of Muny favorites and newcomers. In addition to casting, a comprehensive list of design teams for each production will be released later this spring. The 5th Avenue Theatre has announced complete casting for the world premiere of Bliss, an empowering original musical fantasy that flips the traditional princess narrative upside down.

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 23a?"February 2, 2020. The Sundance Film Festival is Sundance Institute's flagship public program, widely regarded as the largest American independent film festival and attended by more than 120,000 people and 1,300 accredited press, and powered by more than 2,000 volunteers last year.

Following a sold-out concert in 2017, stars from Broadway and the National Tours of WAITRESS are coming together to perform WAITRESS SINGS BAREILLES: VOL. 2 at The Green Room 42 on Wednesday December 18, 2019 both at 7:00pm and 9:30pm. The evening's concerts will benefit The Hysterical Womxn's Society.

EPIC Players Inclusion Company announced their final production of 2019, a neuro-inclusive adaptation of Peter and the Starcatcher by Rick Elice. The production runs December 6 - 15 at HERE's mainstage in SoHo. Opening night is slated for December 6.
