My One and Only has had 6 productions including Broadway which opened in 1983, Broadway which opened in 1983, US Tour which opened in 1985, West End which opened in 2002, Los Angeles which opened in 2006 and Off-Broadway which opened in 2018.
Best Musical , , Best Book of a Musical for Peter Stone, Best Book of a Musical for Timothy S. MayerBest Costume Design for Rita Ryack and Best Direction of a Musical for Tommy Tune.
My One and Only has been nominated for several awards. These include Outstanding Choreography at the Drama Desk Awards for both Tommy Tune and Thommie Walsh. Additionally, Rita Ryack was nominated for Outstanding Costume Design at the Drama Desk Awards. The show was also nominated for Outstanding Musical and Outstanding Orchestrations at the Drama Desk Awards, with Michael Gibson being recognized for his work in the latter category.
My One and Only has won several awards. It received the Outstanding Choreography award at the Drama Desk Awards for both Tommy Tune and Thommie Walsh. The show also won the Outstanding Costume Design award at the Drama Desk Awards for Rita Ryack. In addition, My One and Only won the Outstanding Musical award at the Drama Desk Awards, as well as the Outstanding Orchestrations award for Michael Gibson.
