New York Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that just kicked off this week, July 7 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11. In attendance today were some of the Radio City Rockettes, who performed a number from the New York Spectacular. Check out a clip below!

He made his mark on the New York stage in 2015 playing the Fred Astaire role in Lady, Be Good at City Center's Encores! This past season he made his Broadway debut as Lucky in the tap-happy revival of Dames At Sea. Now Danny Gardner shuffles onto the grand stage at Radio City making his debut in the New York Spectacular Starring The Radio City Rockettes. As part of the principal cast, Danny joins eighty performers in this new show that celebrates New York City in the summertime. It's centered around the trip of a lifetime for two kids, who, while on a vacation in New York, are separated from their parents. The city magically comes to life and helps to reunite their family in the end. It's all directed and choreographed by Emmy Award-winner Mia Michaels, and is written by Drama Desk Award-winner Douglas Carter Beane.

The Madison Square Garden Company announced today that Jenna Ortega and Lilla Crawford will share the role of Emily, the teen girl lead in New York Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, presented by Chase at Radio City Music Hall. The limited eight week engagement runs from June 15 through August 7, 2016. Tickets are on sale now at www.rockettes.com/newyork and at the Radio City box office.
