Members of the Geer family star in a revival ofThe Chalk Garden by Enid Bagnold, a unique comedy that blends witty humor with insightful truths. Susan Angelo directs Bagnold's captivating psychological chamber piece for a June 30 opening at Theatricum Botanicum's outdoor amphitheater in Topanga.

This past weekend, The 413 Project's dinner theater production of The Importance of Being Earnest was scheduled to close on March 2nd. But thanks to the production's great success, the cast of 'Earnest' will be returning to the Madeline Garden Restaurant and Bistro for a limited engagement from May 31st to June 10th, 2018.

Nearly a hundred years later, Smithsonian Channel's DRINKS, CRIME AND PROHIBITION takes a deep dive into the underbelly of a time characterized as much by jazz, illegal booze and female liberation as it was by gangsters and brutality. Weapons experts, historians, museum curators and mixologists weigh in on 'the failed experiment” and the compelling drama it unleashed, with all its unlikely alliances, corruption and machinations of organized crime. The two-part special premieres Monday, June 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Smithsonian Channel.

Park Square Theatre's Andy Boss Thrust Stage is once again the home to Flying Foot Forum's signature storytelling with FRENCH TWIST, a cabaret of gorgeous music, theatrical storytelling and percussive dance set in a Paris Nightclub that runs from June 22 to July 15, 2018. This 25th anniversary production starts with the premise of the company's original production which premiered at The Guthrie in 2008, but now includes new characters, melodic new songs and inventive dances. Directed by Christopher Annino, 'Silent Times' is a Roaring-Twenties escapade set in a small New England town. The story centers on Oliver Henry III (played by Geoff Blanchette), a small-time crook turned vaudeville theater owner. From humble beginnings in England, he immigrates to America in search of happiness and fast cash. He becomes acquainted with people from all walks of life, from burlesque performers, mimes, hobos to classy flapper girls. As his fortunes rise his life spins out of control.

The Cleveland Orchestra and Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music have announced a special residency partnership for the 2018-19 season and academic year.
