Roundabout Theatre Company has announced complete casting for the Special Benefit Concert Reading of The Pirates of Penzance. The concert will be taking place on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the American Airlines Theatre. 

Roundabout Theatre Company's world premiere of Primary Trust by playwright Eboni Booth, directed by Knud Adams, will star Emmy Award nominee William Jackson Harper (“The Underground Railroad”) and Obie and Outer Critics Circle Award winner April Matthis (The Piano Lesson).

Griffin Theatre Company has announced casting for its Midwest premiere of Marys Seacole by Pulitzer Prize winner Jackie Sibblies Drury, directed by Jerrell L. Henderson and Hannah Todd. Launching Griffin’s 33rd season, Marys Seacole will play October 1 – November 6, 2022 on Raven Theatre’s Schwartz Stage.

A sensation at The Old Fitz in 2019 and nominated for four Sydney Theatre Awards, Alice Birch’s award-winning drama, Anatomy of a Suicide, returns to Sydney from 6th to 29th October at Seymour Centre.

Yonder Window Theatre Company and  Executive Producer Lisa Dozier are presenting the World premiere of Grant MacDermott’s play JASPER off-Broadway, directed by Katie McHugh. Performances will begin on September 8.

Producers Hunter Arnold and Kayla Greenspan announced that Jefferson Mays’ universally celebrated, one man virtuoso, tour-de-force performance in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol will be coming to Broadway this holiday season for a strictly limited 66-performance engagement at the Nederlander Theatre. Mr. Mays, who is currently performing as Mayor Shinn ten blocks north in The Music Man, will depart that role on October 23rd.
