Cincinnati Shakespeare Company has announced the titles of their 2022-2023 Season today. This announcement featured members of CSC's Artistic Visionary Circle: Producing Artistic Director, Brian Isaac Phillips; Associate Artistic Director, Crystian Wiltshire; and Director of Education, Candice Handy.

The Marsh San Francisco will kick off the New Year with Poetic Justice, taking a deep dive into the true lives of three distinguished writers. Starring Julia McNeal and Charles Shaw Robinson, this double bill features You Must Change Your Life and Divine Madness – one-act plays written by Lynne Kaufman.

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC) and Steven Maler, Artistic Director, are very pleased to announce that Pakistani actor, writer, director, and producer Faran Tahir will return to CSC next summer to play the title role of Shakespeare's Macbeth on the Boston Common.

The National Theatre has announced three new productions for 2023 and the revival of the critically acclaimed The Father and the Assassin. Keen Company has announced details for Keen On New Work. Launched in October of 2013, The Keen Playwrights Lab brings together three playwrights in mid-career to develop new work through an environment of camaraderie and support. Santino Fontana, Celia Keenan-Bolger and more will be taking part.

This new production of Home, I'm Darling opens at the Theatre Royal Windsor on 25 January 2023, prior to the play's first extensive national tour. Leading the cast are BAFTA award winner Jessica Ransom (Doc Martin, Armstrong and Miller, Horrible Histories) as Judy, Diane Keen (Doctors, The Cuckoo Waltz) as Sylvia and Neil McDermott (Eastenders, The Royal) as Johnny, with further casting to be announced.

Jodie Comer will make her highly anticipated Broadway debut in the US premiere of Prima Facie, a new play by Suzie Miller. Prima Facie opens on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Golden Theatre. Previews begin on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Award-winning Off-Broadway theater, Urban Stages, will host several special post-show conversations following performances of Eleanor and Alice: Conversations Between Two Remarkable Roosevelts by Ellen Abrams and directed by Urban Stages Founder/Artistic Director Frances Hill.

Writers Theatre will continue its 2022/23 Season with Manual Cinema’s Christmas Carol, a Manual Cinema production adapted from the novel by Charles Dickens, devised by Manual Cinema with additional writing by Nate Marshall. The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and Neal Street Productions, in association with Hera Pictures, have announced the world-premiere stage production of Maggie O'Farrell's Hamnet adapted by Lolita Chakrabarti.

Written in 1996 by dissident Czech playwright and novelist Pavel Kohout, whose experiences inspired two Tom Stoppard plays, Cyanide at 5 is the unfolding of a meeting between two women: a novelist and a seeming fan. Zofia, a writer whose only novel has made her rich and famous, is flattered by a visit from Irene, a younger Jewish woman whose mother was a victim of the Holocaust.

Original Theatre and Riverside Studios have announced the forthcoming release dates of Miles and The Fall - the next two play-readings in their Originals online on demand series, featuring the winners of Original Theatre Company's Originals Playwriting Award. 

Soho Rep has announced a one-week extension, to November 20, of its nearly-sold-out world premiere production of Montag, written by Kate Tarker (THUNDERBODIES at Soho Rep; Dionysus Was Such a Nice Man) and directed by Dustin Wills (Wolf Play, presented by Soho Rep & Ma-Yi Theater Company; Frontières Sans Frontières).

Full casting is announced for William Shakespeare’s As You Like It, directed by Josie Rourke, with a musical score by Michael Bruce, @sohoplace, the first new build West End theatre to open in 50 years.
