 The Madison Square Garden Company announced today that legendary musician and MSG music franchise Billy Joel will continue his record-breaking monthly residency on Thursday, February 20, 2020 with his 73rd consecutive show at Madison Square Garden. Nearly 42 years after his debut performance at The Garden, the February 2020 show will mark Joel's 119th lifetime performance, all sell-outs, with more than one million tickets sold.

This morning, The Black Keys debut a live version of “Go,” the second single off their ninth studio album “Let's Rock,” (Easy Eye Sound/Nonesuch Records), via Rolling Stone. "In a story, someone had a dream. In that Dream, someone told a story." A Dream Like a Dream is one of the most celebrated Chinese theatrical masterworks of the 21st century. It was conceived and created by Stan Lai, who recently became the first Chinese theatre professional inducted into the Sibiu Walk of Fame at the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, Romania's pre-eminent performing arts event. In 2002, the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre was the first professional company to mount A Dream Like a Dream, winning Best Overall Performance, Best Costume Design and Best Supporting Actor (TragedyDrama) at the 12th Hong Kong Drama Awards. After a hiatus of 17 years, the HKRep produces this work anew, co-directed by Stan Lai and HKRep Assistant Artistic Director Fung Wai Hang, with special guests Louisa So, three-time Hong Kong Drama Award Best Actor Poon Chan Leung and ViuTV series star Cecilia Choi from My Very Short Marriage leading a 30-member cast of HKRep company members and other outstanding local actors. The production runs from July 28th to September 8th at The Box, Freespace, Art Park, West Kowloon Cultural District. On July 11th, a limited number of tickets will be available for sale for the preview performance (July 27th) and the production run from URBTIX outlets and the West Kowloon Cultural District.

The Black Keys' ninth studio album, “Let's Rock,” was released on June 28 via Easy Eye SoundNonesuch Records and debuted at number 1 on the US Top Current Album Chart, and number 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. As explained in their recent New York Times profile, the band decided not to participate in the current music- business practice of bundling their album with ticket sales. The Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney says: “We decided to avoid ticket bundling like we always have. To us, it feels like a gimmick. It exists solely as a way to game the charts and we want no part of that.” The album is also number 1 in the following categories: Top Current Rock Albums, Current Alternative Album, Current Digital Albums, LP Vinyl Album, and Top Internet.
