Actor Patrick Cassidy, best known for his roles in musical theatre and television, headlines Some Enchanted Evening ~ A Night of Broadway Song & Dance to benefit Inland Pacific Ballet, the professional ballet company based in the Inland Empire. This 2nd annual intimate cabaret evening features song and dance by Inland Pacific Ballet dancers and Academy students, cocktails, hor d'oeuvres, dessert, silent/live auction, and is hosted by IPB Associate Director Jonathan Sharp (The Red Shoes, Carousel, The Rocky Horror Show Live, The Dance of the Vampires, Fiddler on the Roof). Some Enchanted Evening takes place on Saturday, September 22 at 6 p.m., at Inland Pacific Ballet located at 9061 Central Avenue, Montclair, 91763.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents the Broadway Princess Party with Laura Osnes, Susan Egan & Courtney Reed.

ZHONG-JING FANG, soloist of American Ballet Theatre, PAOLA HARTLEY, former principal dancer of Ballet Arizona, KARL CONDON, former principal dancer of the Boston Ballet, and ILYA KOZADAYEV, former soloist of the Houston Ballet will be on the Shreveport Dance Academy's Summer Intensive to be held in Shreveport, Louisiana.   Zhong-Jing Fang and Paola Hartley will be on the faculty from July 23-27, 2018, and Karl Condon and  Ilya Kozadayev will be on the faculty from July 30-August 3, 2018.

Pittsburgh CLO's THE FULL MONTY will take it all off at the Benedum Center this summer July 6 - 15. With a book written by Terrence McNally (Ragtime) and the music/ lyric talents of David Yazbek (The Band's Visit, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), this duo cooks up an aggressive crowd-pleaser that is both highly-entertaining and charmingly uplifting.

In this beloved musical, a full host of fairytale characters come to life as they adventure into the woods and on journeys they never imagined possible. Along the way, they discover universal themes of love, loss, friendship, courage, and family.  Into the Woods (music and lyrics by Stephen Soundheim and book by James Lapine) has won several Tony Awards including Best Score and Best Book since it debuted in 1986.  The plot, tone, farce and tragedy woven throughout this masterpiece make for anything but a typical fairytale. From clever wordplay to intersecting themes, be prepared to experience not only moral skepticism, but communal solidarity as well.

As children, we are brought up on fairy tales set in far faraway lands. A boy-meets-girl story, typically helped by dancing animals or singing furniture.

The Sarasota Ballet will revive Galina Samsova's production of Paquita during the company's 2018-19 season. The performances will take place on October 26, 27, and 28, 2018 at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts in Sarasota, Florida. Miss Samsova's production of Paquita was first staged for the Sarasota Ballet in 2010.

The sounds of silence seem to be drowning out what really matters in this day and age, making the universal lyrics of Simon and Garfunkel more relevant than ever.  Hailing from Stourbridge, England, Dan Haynes and Pete Richards are the members of Bookends, perhaps the finest Simon and Garfunkel Tribute band in the world. At Spencer Theater the duo comes together with their string quartet on Saturday, April 14 at 7 p.m. ($39-$59) to sing the songs that speak to the times as importantly as they did 50 years ago.
