The announcement was made last night in Times Square at the NY Israeli Embassy's “Celebrate Israel” 70thanniversary block party event.

BroadwayWorld recently attended a special press launch for Chicago. Following a successful UK and international tour, and after a 5½-year absence from London, the musical will open on 11 April, following previews from 26 March. It was also recently announced that the booking period has now been extended till October 6, 2018.
