BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that theatre actor and director Keith Baxter has died at age 90.

The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced casting for The Fair Maid of the West, which will run in the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, from Saturday 2 December 2023 to Sunday 14 January 2024, with press night on Tuesday 12 December.

The Orange Tree (OT) has announced its first full year of programming under new Artistic Director Tom Littler. It features world and European premieres by Zoe Cooper and Lucas Hnath; revivals from Mustapha Matura, Noël Coward and Oliver Goldsmith; directors including Trevor Nunn and Matthew Dunster; and Niamh Cusack headlining the first major London revival of Polly Stenham's breakout hit That Face.

Playwrights Horizons and MCC Theater will present the world premiere of John J. Caswell, Jr.'s Wet Brain, directed by Dustin Wills. A terrifyingly inventive look at addiction's ability to transform one's existence and relationships, Wet Brain offers an American family drama that is not only freed from realism, but also, perhaps unmoored from Earth itself.

Coachella Valley Repertory closes its 2022-2023 Season with the irreverent and hilarious five-time Tony®Award nominee and winner of Best New Play HAND TO GOD by Robert Askin. The NY Times called HAND TO GOD a 'darkly delightful play.' Audiences will laugh and, perhaps, wonder if they shouldn't be quite so totally entertained. It is truly a wild and wonderful ride!
