On the heels of the 60th Anniversary of Motown Records, two of the greatest R&B groups of all time a?" The Temptations and The Four Tops a?" will perform on stage at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls on Thursday, September 26, at 7:30 p.m.

The French Institute Alliance Fran aise (FIAF), New York's premier French cultural and language center, today announced the 2019 Crossing the Line Festival, featuring 11 performances and a gallery exhibition from a geographically, generationally, and artistically diverse group of artists whose work transcends genres and boundaries. All performances are world, US, or New York premieres; they are united by their convention-breaking fearlessness as they confront topics from social injustice to personal demons. Many of the performances pay homage to legendary artists of our time and previous eras, while the theme of migration and its transformational effects on identity informs several others. When I saw Hello, Dolly! In New York with Bette Midler last year, I was in awe. I knew that it was special, and it was an experience I'd never forget. I truly considered myself one of the luckiest theatre goers after seeing Midler in this iconic role and now I consider myself even luckier with the night I had at the Orpheum in Minneapolis. In 10th Grade, I was in the chorus of a production of Oklahoma! in the auditorium of my synagogue and it was the best theatrical experience I've ever had. I remember getting home from the closing night cast party and crying myself to sleep. I could cry now putting on the movie or listening to 'The Farmer and the Cowman,' or maybe most of all, if I sing a little bit of the introduction to the title song.

Last night, Renee Taylor won the annual The United Solo Special Award, which recognizes artists who have made significant recent contributions to solo theatre during the year, for her critically acclaimed autobiographical comedy MY LIFE ON A DIET. Along with Ms. Taylor, this year's nominees included Derek DelGaudio (In & Of Itself), Alison S. M. Kobayashi (Say Something Bunny!), John Lithgow (Stories By Heart), Chita Rivera (An Evening with Chita Rivera) and Bruce Springsteen (Springsteen on Broadway).

THE FOUR TOPS headline a Dinner Cabaret season at SOFITEL MELBOURNE ON COLLINS from Wednesday 5th to Saturday 8th December and SOFITEL WENTWORTH SYDNEY from Monday 17th - Thursday 20th December. The line-up includes original band member Duke Fakir plus Ronnie McNeir, Lawrence Payton Jr. and Harold "Spike" Bonhart.

The play will be shown from March 21, 2019 until March 24, 2019.

For more than Sixty Years THE FOUR TOPS, a vocal quartet from Detroit, Michigan helped define the Legendary Motown sound with a repertoire that included Soul Music, R&B, Adult Contemporary and Jazz. Their first Motown hit, "Baby I Need Your Loving" in 1964, made them stars and their sixties track record on the label is indispensable to any retrospective of that decade. Their songs, soulful and bittersweet, were across-the-board successes. "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)", a No.1 R&B and Pop smash in 1965, is one of Motown's longest-running chart toppers, followed "It's The Same Old Song"; "Reach Out I'll Be There"; "Standing In The Shadows Of Love"; "Bernadette"; "It's All In The Game"; "Still Water (Love)"; "You Keep Running Away", and many more. THE FOUR TOPS are a one-in-a-million singing group.

With her first two albums, Oakland-based vocalist Jennifer Lee established herself as a gifted interpreter of the American and Brazilian Songbooks, producing a critically hailed body of work. On her new CD, 'My Shining Hour,' Lee emerges as a composer who, in the nine years since her last release, has developed a striking repertoire exploring the human condition with humor, compassion, and imagination.

Vencl Dance returns to Graham Center of Contemporary Dance June 21-23 with 'Critical Junctures,' an evening of contemporary modern dance by Susan Vencl with music by Arlene Sierra. The concert premiers 'Intersections,' a 35 minute sextet, and presents a 33 minute reconstruction of Vencl's 2016 meditation on randomness and unpredictability, 'Long Before Afterward.'

Director Richard Israel is returning to Actors Co-op to helm the musical Violet. Through moving songs and stirring conversation, Sharon Miles channels Mrs. Hamer as she takes the audience through her inspiring journey.
