Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway and WABC-TV Channel 7 Eyewitness News New York have launched a new initiative, “Magical Moments,' which offers select audience members the chance to visit backstage.

Aladdin marked its 12th anniversary on Broadway at the New Amsterdam Theatre. The musical continues its run as one of Broadway’s longest-running shows. Check out photos of the curtain call celebration.

Aladdin is celebrating its 12th anniversary at the New Amsterdam Theatre on March 20th, 2026. As it plays performance 4,349 tonight, Aladdin has welcomed more than 7.2M guests to the New Amsterdam Theatre.

Ryan Gregory Thurman has joined the company of Aladdin on Broadway as Babkak. Also joining the Broadway company of Aladdin, is Rodney Ingram in the title role.

Aladdin has announced that Rodney Ingram will step into the title role beginning Tuesday, February 3. Ainsley Melham will play his final performance Sunday, February 1.
