There is certainly a gap in the representation of middle-aged women who are confronting ageing and complicated relationships on stage. Victoria Willing’s new play SAD has the potential to fill that hole by exploring a woman-of-a-certain-age’s messy experiences of love, grief and isolation, but fails to provide anything new.

Organizers of the GI Film Festival San Diego are thrilled to announce a diverse film lineup for its annual event happening May 17-21, 2022 at the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA) in Balboa Park. The film festival is dedicated to presenting films and events for, by and about military and veterans, and is set to return to in-person screenings for the first time since 2019. With the slogan “Theatre In These Trying Times”, the 25th edition of the festival has set out to breathe fresh air into both the world of theatre and to theatre lovers with a programme of mostly new productions that look at the world, which is in search of a new normal, through the lens of theatre.

Hull born actress Louise Willoughby will join the production to star as 'Amy Johnson' and Benedict Salter (whose previous Watermill credits include The Importance of Being Earnest and A Little Night Music) will reprise his original role, supporting her playing a series of other male parts.

Stockard Channing and Rebecca Night will perform in the Pulitzer Prize-winning 'night, Mother by Marsha Norman.  This astonishing play, which had its UK premiere at Hampstead Theatre in 1985, will be directed by the theatre's Artistic Director, Roxana Silbert.  'night, Mother will run from 22 October until 4 December 2021.

Celebrity Attractions has announced that season tickets will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, August 25th at 10am for the extraordinary lineup of five national Broadway tours in Celebrity Attractions’ 2021-2022 Broadway Season at Robinson Performance Hall.
