Vive la France! The Bercy, Delice et Chocolat and Ardmore Initiative present the debut of Ardmore's Bastille Day Block Party this Sunday, July 14, 2019, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Celebrate your love of French food and culture with an all-day party thrown in honor of the 230th anniversary of the storming of the Bastille. The Old Vic Announces Casting For Lucy Prebble's A VERY EXPENSIVE POISON

The Old Vic today announces casting for Lucy Prebble's new play A Very Expensive Poison, based on the book by Luke Harding and directed by John Crowley. The cast includes Thomas Arnold, Tom Brooke, MyAnna Buring, Callum Coates, Marc Graham, Amanda Hadingue, Yasmine Holness-Dove, Lloyd Hutchinson, Robyn Moore, Peter Polycarpou, Sarah Seggari, Michael Shaeffer, Reece Shearsmith, Gavin Spokes and Bea Svistunenko. A Very Expensive Poison opens at The Old Vic on 5 September with previews from 20 August.

The Story So Far Release Music Video for 'If I Fall'

The Story So Far are premiering a very special music video for 'If I Fall' today. Filmed while the band was in Japan on tour earlier this year, this music video was shot entirely on Super 16 and Super 8 Film over a 10 day period. Director Eric Soucy used a handheld windup camera that could only shoot 23 seconds at a time, filming from 7am until well into the evening. The results are a captivating visual story of frontman Parker Cannon journeying through places like Golden Gai, Shinjuku, Shibuya crossing, Philosophers Path and the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.

Miami is thrilled to welcome one of our own Nick Duckart performing in the national tour of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world after 9/11 when the world stopped. On 9/12, their stories moved us all. COME FROM AWAY will make its Miami debut at the Center's Ziff Ballet Opera House for a limited engagement on June 18 - 23, 2019. Nick Duckart was born and raised in Hialeah, FL, attended Hialeah High School, New World School of the Arts and the University of Florida and still has family in the area. Nick reminisces as we talk about his humble beginnings in Hialeah that shaped him into who he is today.

Arthur Miller's THE HOOK to Make US Premiere in Brooklyn

Brooklyn's Brave New World Repertory Theatre (BNW) will present two site-specific developmental staged readings of The Hook, adapted by Brooklyn-based writer Ron Hutchinson from Arthur Miller's unproduced screenplay and directed by Claire Beckman who will use the pier, gangways and barge of The Waterfront Museum moored in Red Hook as a stage.

Recently featured in a New York Times project called "Black Writers of Our Time," Philadelphia-based playwright James Ijames is an artist on everyone's A-list. His newest play, Kill Move Paradise, is a new take the Elysium of Greek antiquity. Inspired by recent events, the play is an expressionistic buzz saw through the contemporary myth that 'all lives matter.
