This November, opening the festive season at the London Coliseum, the English National Opera (ENO) presents the highly anticipated UK premiere of It's a Wonderful Life. Composed by Jake Heggie in 2016 with the libretto by Gene Scheer, this is an operatic adaptation of the 1946 Frank Capra Christmas classic film, sung in English.

Last week A SIGN OF THE TIMES -- was announced for a new developmental reading. The release stated the musical had “several script revisions” and the librettist was now Lindsey Hope Pearlman. Absent was any mention of well-known comedy writer Bruce Vilanch, the original librettist, who had been developing the show for almost a decade.

The new musical has made several script revisions and now features a book by Lindsey Hope Perlman (Cassandra Complex), based on an original story by Richard Robin.

Tickets for two Broadway musicals coming to the arts center this January 2023 are now on sale. The third show of the AdventHealth Broadway in Orlando 22/23 season, Wicked––the untold true story of the Witches of Oz––will perform 24 times in Walt Disney Theater from January 25–February 12, 2023. Delaware Theatre Company will present the world premiere production of the new musical, HERE YOU COME AGAIN written by Bruce Vilanch, Gabriel Barre and Tricia Paoluccio, with songs by Dolly Parton (and others). Vilanch jokes, 'In the late '80s, I worked on Dolly Parton's big network variety show, which jumped off a bridge like some of the people in her songs. I finally get to make it up to her.'
