Disney Theatrical Productions, under the direction of Thomas Schumacher, and Broadway in Hollywood has announced Disney's Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical comedy, will play a 2-week return engagement at Hollywood Pantages Theatre beginning September 12, 2023, with performances playing through Saturday, September 23, 2023. Disney's Aladdin, is IMMEDIATELY available as a Season Add-on for theater goers who purchase Broadway in Hollywood's all new 2023-24 Season.

Nadat de première en de tournee door Corona afgelopen theaterseizoen niet door konden gaan zijn Anouk Maas (Evita, The Sound of Music, Flashdance, GTST), Rian Gerritsen (De Luizenmoeder, Opvliegers) en Lieneke Le Roux (Broos, Ik Ook Van Jou) dit seizoen dan toch te zien op de bühne. Huisvrouwen Bestaan Niet, geïnspireerd door de columns van Sylvia Witteman, is van 20 januari t/m 13 mei te zien door het hele land en gaat op 28 januari in première in Schouwburg Het Park in Hoorn.

The Really Useful Group in London has authorized a special, limited engagement of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber to be produced almost entirely with Utah talent for Utah audiences in celebration of the return of live performance to  Utah stages. The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber will feature iconic songs from Lloyd Webber's most popular shows  including The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar,  Evita and others.

Asolo Rep will close its 2021 outdoor season with Ana Isabelle & Friends in Concert: Stand Back, Sarasota! The concert reunites some of the stars of the theatre's 2017 hit production of Evita. Directed by Broadway's Josh Rhodes, the concert previews April 15 &16, opens April 17 and runs thru April 24 on Asolo Rep's outdoor Terrace Stage, located on the front steps of the FSU Center for the Performing Arts.

The production will star Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin, Wicked), Jason Gotay (Evita, Bring It On: The Musical), Morgan Siobhan Green (Be More Chill), Vicki Lewis (Damn Yankees, Anastasia), Will Burton (Kiss Me, Kate; Hello, Dolly!), Jerusha Cavazos (The Prom), Pierre Marais (Aladdin), John Rapson (Les Misérables), Carrie St. Louis (Kinky Boots, Wicked), and Julia Murney (Wicked).

Asolo Repertory Theatre proudly kicks off its highly anticipated 2019-20 season with Rodgers and Hammerstein's beloved classic THE SOUND OF MUSIC. This Tony Award-winning musical sensation will be directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes (Broadway: Bright Star, It Shoulda Been You, First Date, Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella). San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) announced today that its world premiere musical, 33 1/3 a?" House of Dreams, currently held over until September 1st, set a new revenue record among all musicals in the theatre's recorded history. The musical beats out The REP's two previous revenue record holders, Evita (2017) and In the Heights (2013). All three musicals were Xchange Xperience productions, the partnership between San Diego REP and the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts that gives high school age students the opportunity to work on a professional production.

After successful productions of The Sound of Music, Evita, and Sunset Boulevard the three past summers, Festival Bruxellons! is this year presenting Frederick Loewe's and Alan Jay Lerner's musical masterpiece My Fair Lady in a new brilliant French adaptation by Stéphane Laporte, in collaboration with Jack Cooper and Simon Paco, both of whom, as they did Evita and Sunset, directed.

Regent's Park Theatre have today announced principal casting for their productions of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar, alongside the full creative team for Evita.

 The 5th Avenue Theatre has announced an incredible six-show lineup for its 201920 season. First, The 5th will stage a lavish production of Austen's Pride, A New Musical of Pride and Prejudice. For the holidays, The 5th will create a brand new staging of Shrek The Musical, which premiered at The 5th in 2008. The New Year kicks off with Stu for Silverton, which continues its developmental journey as a part of The 5th's New Musical Development Program. Next comes a joyful 5th Avenue Theatre original production of Sister Act, followed by an exclusive, limited two-week engagement of Once On This Island. The season will close with an original staging of the epic masterpiece, Evita. Additionally, The 5th will host a one-week run of the national tour of Jersey Boys.
