When Churchyards Yawn, a fast-paced, witty, and deeply felt 'divine comedy,' is the story of all the dead Hamlet characters' travails in Purgatory. The reading is free and takes place on July 16, 2022, at the Desert View High School black box theatre.

Following the sold-out success of COVID SUX: The Musical at Cumston Hall, Chris Henry, and Mark Falconer have written a new sequel to their previous original musical comedy about the pandemic featuring parodies of hit Broadway songs from shows like Hamilton, Les Miserables, Tick Tick Boom, West Side Story, Chicago, and Annie.

The string ensembles of PYO Music Institute (PYOMI) – Prysm Strings and Prysm Strings Young Artists -- will perform on Saturday, May 14th at 3 p.m. in Centennial Hall of the Haverford School at 750 Lancaster Ave, Haverford, PA.

Zac Efron has revealed that he hopes to return to his role in High School Musical for a fourth film. Efron first played the role of Troy Bolton in Disney's hit musical franchise for the initial 2006 film and then reprised it for two sequels. The official soundtrack for the first season of the Disney+ original series, High School Musical: The Musical: The Seriesis out today, available HERE. The songs from the Walt Disney Records soundtrack have already amassed over 60 million streams (audio and video combined).  The cast of HSMTMTS have performed on ABC's Good Morning America and the ABC Christmas Day Parade.  The series, and its music, has garnered press coverage from cream of the crop media outlets such as People, Entertainment Tonight, Entertainment Weekly, E! News, Los Angeles Times, Billboard, Cosmopolitan and Buzzfeed.  Paste Magazine singled out the series as one of the a?oeTop Ten Shows on TV.a??  Olivia Rodrigo's (Nini's) track a?oeAll I Wanta?? has already landed in the top 40 on iTunes, top 100 on Spotify as well two Billboard charts.  HSMTMTS was also nominated this week for a GLAAD Award.

The Disney+ series will generate over 40 pieces of music and content.  The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series cast members penned two of the new songs for the Walt Disney Records OST. a?oeJust A Momenta?? (airing January 3, 2020) was co-written by Joshua Bassett (Ricky) and Olivia Rodrigo (Nini) as well as Dan Book, who also produced the track. a?oeAll I Wanta?? was written by Olivia Rodrigo and is set to air November 29.

Ferndale's The Ringwald Theatre kicks off its 13th Season a bit earlier than usual with Disney's High School Musical. Starting performances August 23rd will allow folks of all ages the chance to soak up some high school fun before classes actually start in September!
