Standup comedy siren Jiaoying Summers is standing up for Anti-Hate in her late September summer stops in New York City. Stop Asian Hate feat. Jiaoying Summers and Special Guests will be presented at Carolines on Broadway from 7PM  on September 28, 2022.

Pittsburgh CLO has announced casting for the 30th annual production of A MUSICAL CHRISTMAS CAROL, December 17-23 at the Byham Theater. Performance artist John Fleck will present four live, work-in-progress performances of his musical cabaret/special event it’s alive, IT’S ALIVE! at the Odyssey Theatre starting September 18th. Had the chance to chat up this infamous NEA FOUR artist on his creativity, his patience in the makeup chair and his creative history with David Schweizer.

Michael McAssey is one of cabaret's busiest and most sought-after entertainers. The successful Broadway and Television actor made his cabaret debut in 1982 at New York City's famous DUPLEX in Greenwich Village.

What do you get when you combine the pianistic finesse of Michael Feinstein, the smooth phrasing of Tony Bennett, and the bawdy wit of Bette Midler? You get Michael McAssey, who for 40 years has reigned as the clown prince of New York cabaret, and has enchanted as one of its most talented troubadours. He calls what he does 'schtick.' But that's undervaluing his unique blend of beautiful ballad singing and standup, or rather 'sit down' comedy.

Michael McAssey is a winner and three-time nominee of the MAC AWARD for Outstanding Male Vocalist, presented in New York by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs and made his Town Hall debut at the Mabel Mercer FOUNDATION'S 13th ANNUAL CABARET CONVENTION.
