The event – which was sold out at a limited capacity (for safe social distancing) but available for wider view through livestreaming – will return in 2021. This year's planned Heart & Soul Philanthropy honoree, Marian Moss, will be recognized at the event next year.

The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall's Education & Community Engagement Department has announced a FREE streaming of TheaterWorksUSA's Charlotte's Web from December 7-20. Based on the popular children's book, this performance was set to be the final Schooltime Performance of the 2019-2020 school year and was cancelled this past spring due to COVID-19.

Sarasota Opera has announced additional presentations for the 2020 season of “HD at the Opera House.” Richard Strauss's Arabella from the 2014 Salzburg Easter Festival will be shown on Sunday, November 22; Verdi's Macbeth from the Royal Opera House in London will be shown on Sunday, December 6; and Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker ballet from the Royal Ballet in London will be shown on Sunday, December 20.
