Berkeley Playhouse launches its 2024/25 season with the musical The Prom, running from September 6 to October 13, 2024. The story is set in small-town Indiana and follows four eccentric Broadway stars who arrive in a conservative community to support a high school student’s right to take her girlfriend to the prom. Arri Toshiko Glenn stars as Emma Nolan, alongside Aleshani Altan, Taylor Bartolucci, and DC Scarpelli, as they bring a heartfelt narrative of acceptance and celebration to life. Co-directed by Megan McGrath and Christina Lazo, this vibrant production promises an engaging mix of humor, dance, and important themes.
