By: Oct. 02, 2015

PTC presents Outside Mullingar, It Happened One Christmas, Two Dollar Bill, An Inspector Calls, Cowgirls and The Count of Monte Cristo.

Tickets for the seven remaining shows of Pioneer Theatre Company's 2015-16 season, including the professional American premiere of the musical The Count of Monte Cristo (by the composer of Jekyll and Hyde and The Scarlet Pimpernel) will go on sale Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 10 a.m.
The season includes the romantic comedy Outside Mullingar by Pulitzer Prize, Tony and Oscar winning playwright John Patrick Shanley (October 30 through November 14, 2015); the world premiere holiday musical It Happened One Christmas, created by PTC Artistic Director Karen Azenberg and playwright Ken Jones just for PTC audiences (December 4 through December 19, 2015); the world premiere of Two Dollar Bill, a riveting examination of personal and professional ethics (January 15 through January 30, 2016); the classic mystery An Inspector Calls by J.B. Priestly (February 19 through March 5, 2016); and the Frank Wildhorn musical adaption of the swashbuckling classic of romance, betrayal and revenge, The Count of Monte Cristo (May 6 through May 21, 2016).
Tickets to the concert version of The Rocky Horror Show, which will run for four performances from October 22 through 24, 2015 and will star Utah native and Broadway star Will Swenson, are also available.
"As always, we try to come up with a great variety of shows that will appeal to our diverse audience," comments PTC Managing Director Chris Lino. "From familiar crowd-pleasers like our season opener Fiddler on the Roof to the excitement of the professional American premiere of a new Frank Wildhorn musical The Count of Monte Cristo, from the world premiere of an exciting new drama, Two Dollar Bill, with a ripped-from-the-headlines subject, to a brand new holiday musical created just for our audiences, we think there's something for everyone in our season."
