Theatrikos Theatre Company presents Life Sucks., written by Aaron Posner and directed by John Forsythe, running May 21 through June 7, 2026. A "sort of" adaptation of Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, the play follows a group of old friends, ex-lovers, and disgruntled intellectuals at a country estate as they wrestle with love, regret, and the messy business of being alive. Breaking the fourth wall, the characters draw audiences directly into their existential crises with sharp modern wit and emotional honesty. The cast features Joel Austin, Andrew Dzeguze, América Fregozo, Leslie S. Jones, Nick Rabe, Vicki Thompson, and Audrey Young.
