Block-will headline four special performances as part of a new series, LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER Presents - Stars in Concert. Combining the intimacy of cabaret with Broadway panache, each evening will showcase one of these leading voices of musical theater illuminating their musical journeys to stardom, revisiting favorite songs, and delighting viewers with their versatility and captivating performances.

At my last District Competition, I had the pleasure of performing a Small Group Musical entitled 9 Peoples Favorite Thing from the musical, Title of Show. When choosing pieces to take to competition, this song spoke to me because it relies on one simple message: to have confidence in yourself even when others don't believe in you.

Keala Settle, star of Broadway's "Hands on a Hardbody" and "Waitress" and the film "The Greatest Showman" - and standout performer of the Oscar nominated song "This Is Me" on the recent 2018 Academy Awards telecast - takes the lead role in the new short film "Every Other Weekend" which will have its international premiere in mid-2018. The Josh Victor Rothstein directed film also stars on-the-rise child actors Angelina Palma and Julian Lerner, and is produced by Schuyler Weiss and Carlos Zozaya. The 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert benefit celebration of the 2002 Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Thoroughly Modern Millie was presented last night at The Minskoff Theatre. The concert starred two-time Tony Award® winner Sutton Foster, Tony Award® winner Gavin Creel, Tony Award® winner Harriet Harris and other original cast members for a one-night-only benefit to raise funds for The Actors Fund, the human services organization that helps everyone in entertainment and performing arts.
