Based on the New York Times Best Selling book from Ethan Brown, SHOWTIME's new five-part true crime docu-series MURDER IN THE BAYOU, from director Matthew Galkin, (Kevorkian) investigates the unsolved murders of eight women whose bodies were discovered in and around the town of Jennings in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. The season premiere on Friday, September 13 at 9 PM ET/PT looks into the first murders between 2005 and 2007 when the bodies of four young women are found in drainage canals and on desolate back roads.

Intimacy Director Claire Warden is featured in this monthly episode of THEATER: All the Moving Parts, hosted by veteran journalist, Patrick Pacheco. She is one of the leaders in the relatively new and important role of intimacy director and coordinator in theater, movies and TV. Warden recently made history as the first intimacy director on Broadway with Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune and will shortly be working on the Broadway productions of Slave Play and Linda Vista. 

Gary Owen returns to the stage for his fourth SHOWTIME comedy special GARY OWEN: #DOINWHATIDO, premiering Saturday, September 7 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. In the hour-long special filmed at Charline McCombs Empire Theatre in San Antonio, Owen bursts with energy as he recounts stories, including his early days as a wrestler and as a military recruit, his 20-year friendship with Kevin Hart, his reaction to his daughter dating and one of the greatest things he has ever heard at a football game. SHOWTIME Documentary Films will premiere DAVID BOWIE FINDING FAME from director Francis Whately (Rock 'n' Roll Guns for Hire: The Story of the Sidemen, DAVID BOWIE: FIVE YEARS) tonight, Friday, August 9 at 9 p.m ET/PT. Showtime Documentary Films today announced it will premiere the new documentary HITSVILLE: THE MAKING OF MOTOWN from directors Benjamin and Gabe Turner (Class of 92, I Am Bolt, One Direction: This Is Us) on Saturday, August 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The remarkable story of the legendary Motown Records is told through new and exclusive interviews with the label's visionary founder, Berry Gordy, and many of its superstar artists and creative figures, as well as rare performances and behind-the-scenes footage unearthed from Motown's vaults and Gordy's personal archives. HITSVILLE: THE MAKING OF MOTOWN is the first documentary about the iconic label with Gordy's participation.
