The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin- Virtual Edition (Corona Cabaret) continues with the release of the fourth episode featuring special guests Lily Brooks O'Briant (Netflix's The Big Show Show, Matilda), Sami Bray (Bedwetter, School of Rock, 1984), and Alyssa Marvin (Trevor, School of Rock, Annie).

Cabaret series, The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin, announced that it is going virtual over the next several weeks to raise money for The Actors Fund. Created, written and accompanied by 13 year-old musical sensation Joshua Turchin (Trevor the Musical, Forbidden Broadway, The Perfect Fit, The Little Mermaid Live-To-Film at The Hollywood Bowl, National Tour of A Christmas Story), The Early Night Show brings musical comedy to an early night audience and features Broadway, TV and Film performers.

Michael Feinstein produced a memorial event at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, featuring performances by: Feinstein ('I Won't Send Roses'), Kristin Chenoweth ('If He Walked Into My Life'), Sutton Foster ('I Don't Want to Know'), Kelli O'Hara ('Before the Parade Passes By'), Leslie Uggams ('I Am What I Am'), Bernadette Peters ('Time Heals Everything'), Betty Buckley ('Hello, Dolly!'), Klea Blackhurst and Tyne Daly ('Bosom Buddies'), John Bolton ('It Takes a Woman'), Lorna Luft ('Gooch's Song'), Ron Raines ('Mame'), Jason Graae ('You I Like'), Marilyn Maye ('It's Today'), Jeremy Jordan ('It Only Takes a Moment'), Lee Roy Reams ('The Best of Times'), and Debbie Gravitte ('Wherever He Ain't'), with Alice Borden, Jane Dorian, and Harvey Fierstein, and special video tributes from Angela Lansbury and Paul McCartney. Marc Bruni directed the event with Larry Blank serving as music director, and Don Pippin (guest conductor).

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater presents Disney's Tony Award-winning musical Newsies, an inspiring story about kids who fight for what is right at the turn of the century, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman and book by Harvey Fierstein. Inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City, this family-friendly musical follows the story of newsboys and newsgirls who dream of a better life and lead a crusade for justice. Just in time for the holidays, the score features fan favorites, including 'King of New York,' 'Carrying the Banner' and 'Seize the Day.' Newsies, directed by Molly Smith, with choreography by Parker Esse and music direction by Laura Bergquist, will run November 1-December 22, 2019 in the iconic in-the-round Fichandler Stage.

Manhattan Theatre Club's World premiere of Bella Bella, written and performed by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein (Casa Valentina, Torch Song, Hairspray) and directed by Kimberly Senior (Disgraced, The Niceties), opened just last night, October 22, at at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

The winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Boots hits the Ogunquit Playhouse stage September 18 through October 27. Featuring a hilarious, uplifting book by four-time Tony winner, Harvey Fierstein and a joyous, Tony-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, the Ogunquit Playhouse production is staged by Nathan Peck, and stars Graham Scott Fleming as Charlie Price, and Kyle Taylor Parker as Lola, with Tony-nominated Scenic Design by David Rockwell and Tony-nominated Costume Design is by Gregg Barnes.

Everybody say yeah! We're celebrating the birthday of Broadway's original Charlie Price, Stark Sands, by looking back at his opening night in Broadway's Tony-winning musical Kinky Boots. 3-D Theatricals will present the West Coast regional premiere of Kinky Boots, starring Broadway, YouTube and 'RuPaul's Drag Race' sensation, Todrick Hall as Lola, a part he first played in the long-running Broadway production. Winner of six Tony Awards including Best Musical, this huge-hearted musical features a Tony Award-winning score by pop legend Cyndi Lauper and book by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein. The production will play February 14-March 1, 2020 at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, in Cerritos, CA.

As Kinky Boots prepares to take its final Broadway bow on Sunday, April 7, some of the cast got together to perform an epic version of 'Take What You Got.' Arranged by past Harry, Jake Odmark, the song features the only three other actors to play the role on Broadway- Andy Kelso (Opening-2014), Ross Lekites (2016-2017) and Corey Mach (2017-Closing).
