Watch the new preview video from the season premiere of Schmigadoon, in which Martin Short returns as a mysterious Leprechaun to pass on a message to Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong). The message comes in the form of a song, which bares a striking resemblance to 'All That Jazz' from Chicago. 

The featurette shares new look at the upcoming season, which reimagines the world of '60s and '70s musicals, including Hair, Sweeney Todd, Cabaret, Chicago, and more. Members of the cast, including Kristin Chenoweth, Dove Cameron, Ariana DeBose, Jane Krakowski, Keegan Michael-Key, Cecily Strong, and more tease what to expect in the new video.

Jane Krakwoski has teased her big musical number in season two of Schmigadoon, which is titled Schmicago. Krakowski teased that the new season will honor ''70s, '80s sexy musicals,' teasing that her 'challenging' number includes a trapeeze, Sondheim, Chicago, and Cirque du Soleil. GLAAD, the world’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, held the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City last night where a host of LGBTQ notables and allies called on the community to fight back against growing anti-LGBTQ attacks, particularly on LGBTQ youth and transgender Americans. GLAAD also announced recipients for 16 of this year’s 30 categories for the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Additional categories were announced in Los Angeles on April 2 and a full list is available below.

The first two episodes of “Schmigadoon!” premiered globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, July 16. The series continues with one new episode weekly, every Friday through August 13.

In “Suddenly,” Melissa (Cecily Strong) grapples with her conflicted feelings for Doc Lopez (Jaime Camil), rebelling against his archaic ideas, while Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) tries to court Emma (Ariana DeBose) the schoolmarm.

Keegan-Michael Key stars in the highly anticipated musical comedy series Schmigadoon!, which premieres on Friday, July 16 on Apple TV+. He recently stopped by The Late Show, where he told Stephen Colbert that he struggled to not dance to the music on the set.

The six-episode season, co-created by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, and directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, also stars Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth, Aaron Tveit, Dove Cameron, Ariana DeBose, Fred Armisen, Jaime Camil, Jane Krakowski and Ann Harada.

Apple TV+ announced that 'Schmigadoon!,' the six-episode musical comedy series executive produced by Lorne Michaels, will make its global debut on Friday, July 16.

Dove Cameron will make her LA Opera debut in The Light in the Piazza, running from October 12 through 20, 2019, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. She will play the role of Clara Johnson, a young woman with a long-hidden secret that threatens her hopes of finding true love during a summer vacation through Italy. Opera superstar Renee Fleming will portray her mother, Margaret Johnson.
