The Public Theater presents the world premiere COAL COUNTRY, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen with original music by Steve Earle and direction by Jessica Blank. This new work began performances in the Anspacher Theater with an official press opening on Tuesday, March 3.

Tom Stoppard's genre-bending comedy, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead comes to the Huntington Theatre Company helmed by Norma Jean Calderwood Artistic Director Peter DuBois. Performances began September 20 at the Avenue of the Arts / Huntington Avenue Theatre (264 Huntington Avenue, Boston) and will run through October 20. Tickets are now on sale to the general public.

The National Tour of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical has already visited cities across the country, and this March it returns to New York City for a six-performance run at the Beacon Theatre. Juilliard's Ellen and James S. Marcus Institute for Vocal Arts presents Jean-Philippe Rameau's opera, Hippolyte et Aricie, conducted by Stephen Stubbs and directed by Stephen Wadsworth with choreographed by Zack Winokur.
