Nothing says 'holiday cheer' like the Broadway Sessions Holiday Show! It was an incredible evening full of performances from Paige Davis, Hannah Cruz, Avionce Hoyles, Kennedy Caughell, Patrick Page, Nathan Lucrezio, Javier Ignacio, Bre Jackson, Joel B New, Imari Hardon, Jessica Hendy, and teen vocal dynamo JJ Jenkins.

New City Music Theatre, formerly Cleveland Musical Theatre, held the first production under its new name and reinvigorated mission on Thursday, August 26 when it presented Jason Robert Brown’s seminal work Songs for a New World. Reimagined through a contemporary storytelling lens and performed by an expanded, star-studded cast including Liz Calloway, Jason Gotay, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Mary Kate Morrissey, and Ximone Rose, among others, at Radial Park at Halletts Point in Queens.

Well, we did it! Broadway Sessions recently celebrated it's 10th anniversary with a full blown SUPER SHOW! We invited back some of our favorite performers to recreate some of our favorite musical moments. We also had some incredible new memories made! Our All-Star cast dazzled the SRO room. Cast members from the Tony-nominated revival of The Color Purple made their way to The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Thursday evening for Broadway Sessions. It became clear pretty darn quick that we were no longer in a theater- we were at CHURCH! These cats can sing like nobody's business. And that's just what they did. They SANG!!! Cast members Rema Webb, Antoine L. Smith, J. Daughtry, Adrianna Hicks, Bre Jackson, Phoenix Best, Akron Watson and Carla R. Stewart were greeted with standing ovation after standing ovation. The cast also shared insights into their audition experiences, told us their favorite 'audience reactions', played a round of 'The Color Purple Pyramid' and joined their voices together for an unforgettable group performance of the show's 11 o'clock number, 'I'm Here.'

On this morning's GMA, THE COLOR PURPLE's Jennifer Hudson and Cynthia Erivo took to the stage with a powerful performance of the title song. Later, the actors discuss the stage adaptation of the classsic novel.

Broadway World TV Los Angeles Correspondents Michael Sterling and Jerry Evans of the JLE Media Group, Inc were once again on hand to celebrate the star studded May 29, 2013 Los Angeles premiere of Priscilla Queen of the Desert currently on its U.S. National Tour and on stage through June 16 at Hollywood's historic Pantages Theatre.
