FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present the return of ELI BOLIN HAS NO FRIENDS, an evening of music from Emmy-nominated composer Eli Bolin (“Original Cast Album: Co-op” and “John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch”) on Monday, June 6th.

Performances begin tomorrow, Wednesday, June 1 for the Broadway musical Sister Act at Paper Mill Playhouse. Sister Act features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, book by Cheri Steinkellner and Bill Steinkellner, and additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.

The Green Room 42 has announced their April line-up for in-person performances. Located inside YOTEL Times Square (570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor), The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest and most spacious cabaret club.

Delaware Theatre Company will present the world premiere of OTHER WORLD, a new musical. Featuring a book by Hunter Bell, music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen and Ann McNamee and directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, OTHER WORLD will begin performances on Wednesday February 23 for a run through Sunday March 20.

Midnight Theatricals has announced the launch of a Virtual Reading Series focused on developing new work with playwrights, actors, directors, and other creatives. Some Broadway performers have signed on for the series, including Hadestown stars Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. There must be something in the air, with a couple of New York's small opera companies transporting 19th-century German Romantic operas by Weber and Wagner to Texas within a couple of months, in search of ways to attract new audiences. With book and lyrics by Jim Luigs and music by Scott Warrender, Das Barbecü's songbook ranges from Broadway to Texas swing, jazz to twangy country and western with a multi-disciplinary cast to reflect the show's artistic demands.

Today, LA MAMA announced the limited engagement of the world premiere musical THE DARK STAR FROM HARLEM: The Spectacular Rise of Josephine Baker. Featuring a book and direction by Glynn Borders and music and lyrics by Mario E. Sprouse, the production will play LA MAMA located at 66 East 4th Street, New York, NY, November 21 - December 1, 2019.
