Comedian and actress Yvonne Orji (HBO's “Insecure,” “Night School”) celebrates her Nigerian-American upbringing in her first hour-long HBO comedy special, YVONNE ORJI: MOMMA, I MADE IT!, premiering SATURDAY, JUNE 6 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.

HBO has renewed comedy series INSECURE for a fifth season, it was announced today by Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO Programming.

In celebration of the season four premiere of hit comedy INSECURE, HBO will host its fourth annual block party for the series virtually.

 Comedy Central has teamed up with Loki Films for a  hilarious ode to moms and the way they have shaped the work of some of comedy's biggest stars.  Call Your Mother will make its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday, April 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET and will debut on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.

Deadline reports that 'Insecure' star Yvonne Orji will star in 'Vacation Friends,' a new comedy from 20th Century Fox and Hulu.

Returning for its ten-episode, fourth season SUNDAY, APRIL 12 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT), INSECURE follows our favorite characters as they evaluate their relationships, both new and old, in an effort to figure out who and what comes with them in this next phase of their lives.

As a centerpiece to its yearlong Ailey Ascending 60th Anniversary celebration and a kickoff to its five-week holiday season, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater will host a star-studded gala benefit on Wednesday, November 28th at 7pm, complete with a performance for the ages at New York City Center and party at the New York Hilton Midtown Grand Ballroom. The Honorary Chairs for the evening are screen icons Angela Bassett and Cicely Tyson. Bassett, a Golden Globe Award winner, stars in the hit television series 9-1-1, and was most recently featured in the 2018 blockbusters Black Panther and Mission: Impossible - Fallout. The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in association with TBS, announced today the addition of more than 100 shows to its 2018 line-up. The festival runs from November 5th through November 11th at some of New York City's most iconic venues including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, among others.
