Audiences were welcomed back to the iconic London County Hall last night as Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution reopened with a brand-new cast following a 78 week closure due to the pandemic. The acclaimed production opened its doors in time to celebrate what would have been Agatha Christie’s 131st birthday today, Wednesday 15 September.

Joe McNamara makes his professional stage debut as the accused, Leonard Vole. He will be joined by Emer McDaid as Romaine, Jonathan Firth as Sir Wilfrid Robarts, Teddy Kempner as Mr Mayhew, Miles Richardson as Mr Myers and Martin Turner as Mr Justice Wainwright.

New dates are announced today for the return of Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall on the Southbank. As the Government Roadmap will not permit the return of full capacity audiences by the planned reopening date of 18 May, performances will now resume from 3 August 2021.

Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Rebecca Stafford Productions today announce further tickets for Witness for the Prosecution will go on sale to the general public on Thursday 28 February 2019. The production, which has now surpassed the original West End run in at the Winter Garden Theatre (now the Gillian Lynne Theatre), will be extending into its third year at London's historic County Hall. Tickets will be available until 29 March 2020.

20 years after watching Roman Polanski's world-premiere production, it was with great trepidation that I entered the Musical Dome in Cologne, to watch DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES again. To my surprise, it was a quick-footed, highly-entertaining show that was a vast improvement over the original Viennese production.

Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Rebecca Stafford Productions announce the new cast for Witness for the Prosecution by Agatha Christie, starring television actor Harry Reid as the accused, Leonard Vole. Reid is best known for most recently playing character Ben Mitchell for nearly four years on BBC1's EastEnders. Reid will be joined by Lucy Phelps (Call the Midwife, Anthony & Cleopatra, King Charles III) as Romaine, Richard Clothier (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Graduate) as Sir Wilfrid Robarts, Julian Curry (The Alchemist, Rumpole of the Bailey) will play Mr Justice Wainwright and Peter Moreton (The Winter's Tale, Shakespeare in Love) who will be playing Mr Mayhew.
