Oscar Wilde's much-loved masterpiece THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST will visit Coventry's Belgrade Theatre from Tues 29th September to Sat 3rd October as part of a major new U.K tour starring stage and TV favourite Nigel Havers in the role of Algernon Moncrieff.

Producers Norton Herrick of Herrick Entertainment and Charlie Burnell of Threesixty Entertainment have extended the Washington area premiere of the spectacular new stage production of PETER PAN through August 23. The performances during the extension week are Wednesday through Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturday at 11:30 am and 3:30 pm, and Sunday at 1:30 pm.

Beginning September 8, Houston audiences will experience Neverland in a whole new way with a spectacular innovative stage production of PETER PAN that combines intimate theater-in-the-round, overhead surround CGI projection, actors in dazzling flying sequences forty feet in the air, and whimsical puppets that bring J.M. Barrie's classic tale to fantastical life. This remarkable production takes place in the one-of-a-kind Threesixty Theatre, a state of the art 100 foot high structure that is part tent and part luxurious world-class theatre. Conceived by an award winning creative team, the beloved family tale will capture the imagination of adults and children alike.

Full casting has now been announced for The Bunbury Company of Players production of Oscar Wilde's much loved and witty masterpiece THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, which will embark on a first class regional tour from Autumn this year. After Pope Paul's death in 1978, a compromise pope was elected, Albino Luciani, who named himself Pope John Paul I. His reign lasted a mere 33 days when, in apparent good health, he died suddenly, creating the suspicion of murder. The Last Confession by Roger Crane explores this time period in Roman Catholic history with a keen eye for details and propelling fine dramatic exchanges. Headed by resourceful actor David Suchet as Cardinal Giovanni Benelli, the cast, mostly from England, is a sturdy lot, and most likely only those repulsed by religion and/or politics will find the action less than intriguing, through July 6 only.

For the longest time, I was under the impression that Toronto audiences were not fans of drama - for we just don't seem to get many of them in our biggest theatres during most theatre seasons. From now until June 1st, Toronto audiences have the opportunity to experience drama at it's finest - The Last Confession starring veteran stage and screen actor David Suchet is a brilliant work of art that can only be described as utterly brilliant.
