Tomorrow, March 31, in honor of what would have been the 100th birthday of James (Jimmy) M. Nederlander, Sr., the Nederlander Organization plans to dim the lights in all 15 theaters worldwide across NY, LA, Chicago, DC and London in tribute to a great legend of theater and entertainment.

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 has extended the run of its production of AT THE WEDDING, a new play by Bryna Turner, directed by Jenna Worsham, through Sunday, April 24 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).  The production, which opened Monday, March 21, was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, April 17.

What if the best day of someone else's life... is also the worst day of yours? AT THE WEDDING, a new play by Bryna Turner, directed by Jenna Worsham, is running through April 17th at Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3.

Constellations: Fate, Love, and the Power of Theatre. The Lambs hosts a discussion of the play 'Constellations' by Nick Payne, the Tony nominated Broadway romantic comedy. A revival of the show will run from April 6 through April 24 at The Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street, New York NY 10012).

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces a star-studded cast for this year's 2022 TRUSpeak: Hear Our Voices!, a virtual gala scheduled for Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm. According to a Deadline article, acclaimed costume and set designer Tony Walton has passed away at the age of 87. He died on March 2nd from issues related to a stroke. Bridget LeRoy, his stepdaughter, released the news of his death on Facebook, writing, “A fond and loving farewell to the most fabulous stepdad and human being in the world. Love you forever, Tony Walton. Have a great trip.” 

On President’s Day Weekend, BroadwayHD founders, Bonnie Comley and Stewart F. Lane rode on a block-long float in a Mardi Gras parade, tossing beads and doubloons into a crowd of thousands, while on route to meet the Mayor. Known for some of the best live music venues in the world, New Orleans recognizes the value of live entertainment so it's no surprise that Mayor LaToya Cantrell would celebrate Comley and Lane with a Key to the City. 

Local celebrity Seth Tucker headlines Broadway Curious, joined by musical director Alicia Ferrin, at ASU Kerr Thursday, March 17th, at 7:00pm. The event marks the latest installment in The Bridge Initiative's musical theatre-centered monthly concert/talk show series, Broadway Curious, offered the third Thursday every month through May.

As the pandemic nears its much overdue endemic end, artists are coming out of the woodwork to sum up the past 24 months with their personal stories of survival and thriving. Last September, Tony award winner Cady Huffman and respected jazz bassist Mary Ann McSweeney presented such an evening at Birdland. With only the two of themselves, they put together an eclectic evening of jazz-flavored tunes with Ms. McSweeney on bass and Ms. Huffman on vocals entitled IT WAS A VERY GOOD YEAR: SONGS INSPIRED BY A PANDEMIC. This coming Tuesday, February 22, Huffman and McSweeney will present a new and improved version of the show at The Green Room 42, with a few surprises for those who caught the show before.

Upon Broadway's return perhaps no member of the company has been more indispensable or rightfully lauded than our incredible covers. And of all the good folks working behind the scenes ready to keep the show going on day after day, perhaps no one works harder than the swing.

 PIONEER THEATRE COMPANY presents SOMETHING ROTTEN! February 25 - March 12, 2022. Something Rotten! was originally scheduled for production in the spring of 2020, and was interrupted by the pandemic. It was then scheduled for the spring of 2021, and again was postponed.

Suffolk Theater presents A BROADWAY VALENTINE on Saturday, February 12.

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 announced new dates for its world premiere production of AT THE WEDDING, a new play by Bryna Turner, directed by Jenna Worsham. The play will now begin performances Saturday, March 5 and run for six weeks only through Sunday, April 17 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).  Opening night is Monday, February 28.

The series features three Tony Award® winners and critically-acclaimed powerhouse talents: Stephanie J. Block (The Cher Show) on January 7; Santino Fontana (Tootsie) on February 5; and Laura Benanti (Gypsy) on March 26.
