Bill Conti Joins Jimmy Roselli Biopic ROSELLI'S WAY

Bill Conti won the Academy Award for best score for The Right Stuff (1983) and has scored over 90 feature films. Prior to his win, he had been nominated for Rocky (1976) and For Your Eyes Only (1981). Conti served as Musical Director for The Academy Awards for nineteen years and won three Emmy Awards for his direction.

SOUTHERN GIRLS Will Open This Month at Hudson Backstage Theatre

Southern Girls, set in a small town in Alabama, follows the lives of six women, from childhood in 1952 through middle age in 1992. Three of the women are white, two are Black, and one is biracial. Their stories span the Jim Crow years, the Civil Rights Era, and what came after. Race impacts the trajectory of their lives to a significant degree, but they also confront class snobbery, sexism, rape, and the need to establish autonomy over their own bodies.

Music Promotion Pioneer Don Graham Passes Away at 87

Don Graham, a music promotion pioneer who started his lengthy career in the early days of Warner Bros. Records, A&M, Blue Thumb, and United Artists in the 1960s, died Thursday evening, July 7, 2022 of stomach cancer at the age of 87.  He was surrounded by his family.

Disney Announces COOKIES & MILK Animated Series Based on the Forthcoming Book by Shawn Amos
