Broadway Records President Van Dean, SiriusXM Radio Host Seth Rudetsky and Producer James Wesley launched the charitable initiative Broadway for Orlando with an all-star roster of theater artists recording the benefit single 'What the World Needs Now is Love,' at Avatar Studios. Created to honor the victims and those wounded in the Orlando shooting massacre at Pulse nightclub and aid the surrounding community, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the song will benefit the LGBT Center of Central Florida. Tony Yazbeck stopped by this morning's 'Today' to announce the news that he will be returning to the role of author 'J.M. Barrie' in Broadway's FINDING NEVERLAND, beginning this Friday, June 10th.

On Monday, June 6, the Theater People podcast welcomes Tony nominee Jennifer Damiano. She made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in the groundbreaking and Tony Award-winning musical SPRING AWAKENING. The Theory of Relativity, the new musical by the Drama Desk Award-nominated creators of Broadway's The Story of My Life, Neil Bartram and Brian Hill, will be released on disc by PS Classics on June 3. The album, recorded March 31 and April 1 at Avatar Studios in New York City, is produced by PS Classics staff engineer Bart Migal, who has produced over a dozen recordings for the label, including, most recently, Tony Yazbeck's debut solo album.

Set Fire to the Rain: A Tribute to Adele is the collision of chart-topping popular hits and awe-inspiring performances by the most talented musicians New York City has to offer. The concert, directed by Jerome Korman and produced by Marcus Linial, features Jenna O'Gara on vocals and is backed by a full band. Special guests Harlem Gospel Choir will join them on the April 14th show at The Paramount in Huntington, NY.

Tony Award Winning Actress Laura Benanti, who is currently starring in the Broadway hit musical She Loves Me, will be honored by the Music Conservatory of Westchester with its Achievement in the Arts Award at their 15th Annual Golf & Tennis Classic celebratory dinner on June 20 at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase.  "Laura is Broadway royalty," said Jon Chattman, a spokesperson for the not-for-profit music school in White Plains, NY. "So many institutions honor stars when they're well into their 80s. Not us. We're honoring the Tony Award winner for all of her stellar work thus far and all that's sure to come."

Burns made her professional New York debut in Jason Robert Brown's groundbreaking 1995 musical SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD.
