In partnership with the YMCA of Greater New York, Thoughts of a Colored Man hosted a Youth and Community event at the Castle Hill YMCA in the Bronx and the North Brooklyn YMCA where there was a Mobile Barbershop ready to treat community members to free haircuts.

Mr. Pritchett replaces originally announced Keith David.  A private family matter has caused Mr. David to depart the production.

COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will make its West Palm Beach debut at Kravis Center for a limited engagement November 16 - 21. COME FROM AWAY will go on sale October 2 at 10 am.

THE GARDENS OF ANUNCIA, the world premiere Old Globe commissioned musical is a lovely, funny, and heartfelt musical that celebrates the love of family, art, and even the adversity that helps a person truly bloom.  THE GARDENS OF ANUNCIA is playing at The Old Globe through October 17th. 

The tour of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the remarkable true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will make its Fort Worth debut at Bass Performance Hall for a limited engagement October 19-24. Single tickets are now on sale for the new Broadway musical, Paradise Square. The first new musical announced for Broadway since the industry-wide shut down, Paradise Square begins previews February 22, 2022 at Broadway’s Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street), where it opens March 20, 2022.

A one-night concert version of the Tony-nominated musical Come From Away was performed last Friday on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, September 10, 2021. This free, 100-minute concert was held in honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

Casting has been completed for the upcoming Broadway premiere of Thoughts of a Colored Man with Bjorn DuPaty and Garrett Turner joining as understudies. Rehearsals begin Tuesday, September 7th.

The Old Globe has announced the full cast and creative team for The Gardens of Anuncia, featuring book, music, and lyrics by five-time Tony Award nominee Michael John LaChiusa (the Globe’s Rain, Broadway’s The Wild Party).

Tickets are now available for Lincoln Center Theater's production of the new musical Flying Over Sunset. The musical, with book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt, and lyrics by Michael Korie. Check out pics of the cast in action!

Set in the 1950’s, FLYING OVER SUNSET is a work of fiction inspired by the lives of three extraordinary and accomplished people - writer Aldous Huxley (to be played by Harry Hadden-Paton); playwright, diplomat, and congresswoman, Clare Boothe Luce (Carmen Cusack); and film legend Cary Grant (Tony Yazbeck).
