Just months ago, following a critically acclaimed run at London's Harold Pinter Theatre, the four-person cast of Betrayal all made their Broadway debuts. One of the four was Eddie Arnold. 

Living in one of the most expensive cities in the United States as a stereotypically broke college student sounds like a financial disaster on paper. Especially when you're like me and have zero economic impulse control. As the internet youths would say, '[My money] is here for a good time. Not a long time.' And living just steps from some of the most iconic Broadway theatres and productions doesn't help my case much either.

Sea Wall / A Life has become the first show of the new 2019-2020 Broadway season to recoup its initial investment. The rare feat of recoupment is all the more impressive given the production's extremely short nine-week engagement at Hudson Theatre (141 West 44th Street).

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Sea Wall/A Life will conclude its limited Broadway run today, September 29, at the Hudson Theatre. 

Audible today announced that it will record the Broadway hit Sea Wall/A Life, starring Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Tony Award nominee Tom Sturridge, two of the finest actors of their generation, as an Audible Original production, to be made available for millions of listeners globally in the coming months.
