MOLLY POPE, A GAY MAN AND A PIANO Opens At The Duplex, January 23

After a lifetime overthinking every second of every day, cabarettist Molly Pope sets up camp at the Duplex to search for the one thing that has always escaped her: a good time.  Armed with the two things absolutely necessary for a good timea?"a gay man and a piano a?" she draws on a trove of old songs, new songs, and why-the-hell-not songs in changing mostly sets.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will present The 'Love is Love is Love' Cabaret on Wednesday, February 12th at 9:30pm. Join us in a celebration of pride and acceptance this Valentine's month at the 'Love is Love is Love' Cabaret. This evening will feature gender-bent musical theatre classics, and repertoire from queer theatre of the past century. This salute to the LGBTQ+ community will include a cast of queer Broadway favorites. @bwaysessions2019 is officially over and we wanted to take a moment to look back on some highlights from the past decade of Broadway Sessions. We're currently in the midst of our 12th Season and we could not be more grateful for all of our performers, audience members, open mic-ers, followers and supporters. Your Kids, Our Kids (Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, Founding Directors) presents the 6th Annual VOICES FOR THE VOICELESS: Stars For Foster Kids, an event that brings together the very best performers from the American stage and screen to raise awareness about the plight of kids in foster care, particularly those aged 13 and older who are in danger of aging out of the foster care system alone.

Tituss Burgess to Make Carnegie Hall Debut with Tribute to Stephen Sondheim Featuring Special Guest Jane Krakowski

On Saturday, February 1 at 8:00 p.m. Emmy-nominated Broadway star Tituss Burgess makes his Carnegie Hall debut in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage with a tribute concert to the music of Stephen Sondheim. Titled Take Me to the World, guest artists include Emmy Award winner Loretta Devine and Tony Award winners Jane Krakowski and Lillias White. Directed by Gabriel Vega Weissman with music direction by Charlie Rosen, the program focuses on the music of Sondheim - on the occasion of his upcoming 90th birthday - and its singular impact on Burgess's life and artistic trajectory.
