Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Broadway's punk rock/musical theatre lovechild is on-stage at Olney Theatre Center. Following the story of an Cold War German performer with a botched sex change, Hedwig takes us through her tumultous and colorful life accompanied by energetic performances and the occasiocal standup routine.

It's Tina Turner's birthday! The casts of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical have come together from around the world to celebrate the icon's birthday.

Back in 2009, I had the honor of attending the 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concerts at Madison Square Garden. The two-night concert event honored the Hall of Fame by having nine Hall of Fame inductees highlight the history and greatest hits of Rock and Roll. The headliners, which also featured special guests, included: Crosby, Stills & Nash, Paul Simon, Steve Wonder, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Aretha Franklin, Jeff Beck, Metallica, U2 and the reunion of Simon & Garfunkel. Little did any of the audience members know this would be the final time that Simon & Garfunkel would perform together on stage...for now. Hearing their amazing harmonies live was an unbelievable experience. On November 19, I had the pleasure of reliving that experience by seeing The Simon & Garfunkel Show at the NYC Theater in Westbury.

The Green Room 42 has announced their line-up through next weekend. Located inside YOTEL Times Square (570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor), The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest, most spacious, and funkiest cabaret club.

Davon and the Spectacle will be making its NYC cabaret debut at the world famous don’t tell mama at 343 West 46th Street in Manhattan on Sunday, December 19. Tickets to the one-night-only event are $25 and go on sale at 9:00am on Wednesday, December 1.

Today, the band releases the album’s first single, a rollicking cover of Eddie Cochran’s “Nervous Breakdown” along with a video featuring vintage performance footage of the Cats cutting it up on stage in their heyday. Watch the new music video now!

This holiday season is a perfect time to see a Broadway show. During Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s weeks, many shows are changing their performance schedules and adding special weekday matinees to accommodate visitors and locals spending their holidays in New York City.

Producers of the Broadway play Chicken & Biscuits announced that the production will resume performances on Friday, November 19, 2021, before playing a final performance of its limited engagement at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street) on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

Guests for the special include: Angela Bassett inducting Tina Turner, with performances by Christina Aguilera, Mickey Guyton, H.E.R., and Bryan Adams, Taylor Swift inducting Carole King, with performances by Swift and Jennifer Hudson, Drew Barrymore inducting The Go-Go's, and Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters.
