GRAMMY Award-winning trio Nickel Creek’s new song, “Where the Long Line Leads,” written by mandolinist Chris Thile, violinist Sara Watkins and guitarist Sean Watkins. Recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A, the album was produced by longtime collaborator Eric Valentine (Queens of the Stone Age, Grace Potter, Weezer) and features Mike Elizondo.

The hit DreamWorks animated franchise, Madagascar, is now a live stage musical that will “Move It, Move It” to venues across the country from April 8 to July 1, 2023, as part of the 12-week tour.

The Lincoln Center Theater's critically acclaimed production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY is coming to Akron for a limited two-performance engagement at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall on the University of Akron campus March 14-15 as part of the Broadway in Akron series.

The extensive run kicks off April 15 at Cincinnati’s Andrew J Brady Music Center and includes stops at Pittsburgh’s Byham Theater, Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park, Philadelphia’s The Fillmore, New York’s The Rooftop at Pier 17, Atlanta’s The Eastern, Chicago’s Salt Shed, Milwaukee’s Riverside Theater and Kansas City’s Kauffman Center.

The Dance Institute at The University of Akron will present The Akron Nutcracker in collaboration with Verb “Ohio Contemporary Ballet” and the Akron Symphony on December 22 & 23, 2022 at E.J. Casting has been announced for the next season of the Olivier Award-winning production of Regents Park Open Air Theatre’s Jesus Christ Superstar. The tour will begin the 2022-2023 season on October 8 at the River Center for the Performing Arts in Columbus, GA and go on to play over 45 cities.

Superstar Natasha Bedingfield will host and perform during the upcoming 50-city North American tour of this year’s highly anticipated live show THE MASKED SINGER National Tour, it was announced today by Right Angle Entertainment and Outback Presents. Bedingfield was most recently a contestant on Season Six of FOX’s hit reality series.

Verb Ballets has commissioned choreographer Joshua L. Peugh to create a new evening length ballet Romeo & Juliet. He will be a choreographer-in-residence at Verb Ballets from January 3 - February 26, 2022.

On Friday, January 14, Little Theatre of Virginia Beach joins generations of theatre groups to open 'The Importance of Being Earnest,' an Oscar Wilde play that has been a hit for more than 125 years.

Due to health and safety concerns, the Akron Symphony Orchestra has rescheduled BAROQUE VIRTUOSOS and GOSPEL MEETS SYMPHONY to new dates later in the season. 

The national tour of ANASTASIA will visit EJ Thomas Hall as part of the Broadway in Akron series November 30 and December 1, 2021.
